3V Competition Axe Head

Randomly stumbled upon this. Not much in the video, but I thought it was interesting someone actually decided to make a 3V axe head, let alone a competition sized one.

The truly interesting part is if you click on the Hudson Steel Supply link in the comments and price the piece of steel he started with...I won't ruin it for you.

better ruin it for us. just watched and any comments about price are gone. my guess would be about $2500.
sander being used looks like your basic 6x48 belt sander. would be lovely to own if you could make it variable speed. most knifee's would not want it because it is not 2x72, which we all know is the only sander you can use to make a real knife. LOL, just feeling snarky today.
