Spyderco/Phil Wilson Bow River collab, $32.50:

The image angle makes it look a little bigger relative to the South Fork than it is, but still a nice size. 8Cr13MoV, made in China. Literally just took it out of the box, so not a whole lot to say except that the knife and sheath seem very well finished for the price. Appears to be an outstanding value, bargain of the year sort of deal. (If you're into this sort of thing smiling smiley )

Nate-
Looks awesome! I didn't know it was a budget model, I am going to have to pick one up. Might be my new fixed blade EDC.

They're only beginning to trickle into dealers and have been going fast, but it's a regular production item so hopefully they'll have good availability soon.

$32.50 for a Phil Wilson design manufactured by Spyderco. First time in a long time something in the knife world has my interest.

That’s great- where is the best shop to pick one up? Did they change the geometry at all with the softer steel?

Geometry is about the same as the South Fork, ~15 thou bte. Not crazy, but good for production knives and can be thinned out as needed.

I got one each from Cutlery Shoppe and Blade HQ shortly after they dropped as these vendors both had a free shipping option, but they've sold out at both places and I guess they may be hard to find now until whenever Spyderco distributes another batch.

Mine arrived from Knifecenter yesterday. Retains much of what I like about the Cold Steel Roach Belly while being improving some of the bad qualities. If you've wanted a roach belly with a FFG blade and longer handle ( I think ) then this might fit the bill.

Sheath is quite nice at the price point.
