In general, given that various parts of a knife blade are used for different things it would make sense that the grind is varied accordingly. However for ease of maintenance I prefer things like distal tapers and varying primary grinds to different edge thickness and primary cross sections. I would not want edge angles or odd shapes such as found on the Tracker/WSK simply for ease of sharpening/maintenance.
