Bubo was asked several times to refrain from making personal comments, his posts were flagged numerous times. He continued to do it.

It is one thing to make irrational/nonsensical arguments such as large wood which is to difficult to carry can be rolled on the ground (in winter, in the woods) and attempt to justify this by showing a dog rolling a small round in a driveway, it is another to continue to use personal commentary.

As noted, all moderation means is that all messages are sent to moderators for approval. After multiple warnings Madnumforce kept using language such as :

" brag to the police to have beat the shit out of that nigger scum"

This isn't the place for that and I really find it hard to understand how that has to be repeated. This is a discussion forum about knives, the name of it refers to the idea that this forum is about understanding the how and why of knives work and the search for perfection in design and execution.

Yes topics can drift, yes there is even an on-topic forum but again :

-there are women and young adults and minorities who post here

On any forum, whenever his methods are questioned he commonly :

-claims that there is no scientific work on edge retention, sharpness, etc.
-insults anyone who questions
-states no one does any work but him
-refuses to answer even simple questions about his work

It is ok to be ignorant (the first and third) however the insults are not and the last one isn't welcomed but is not a moderating offence just one that causes people to ignore you. He can not openly post, but he can submit a post for approval, if it isn't insulting it will be approved, if it is then it will be posted in this thread and clarified why it is rejected.

I was hoping to run this group without this but he made that not possible, congratulations. I was also hoping to avoid a public moderation forum, but as always he has created a huge conspiracy around him with again more disinformation about being "banned".

Let me refresh your memory. I shipped both of those knives to you and they were held up at Canadian customs. Both the UPS store and myself sent you several emails about this, and you didn't bother to reply to either of us. The UPS store tried calling you several times as well. As usual, you didn't return any of their calls.

I was given a choice, either let customs keep the knives, or pay for their return. The payment was exorbitant, over $200 for return shipping. I paid it, and I still have the knives.

As in my earlier email to you, you can have them back whenever you want, but I expect you to reimburse me for those shipping costs first. If you don't believe me, I'm sure UPS still has records of this fiasco. From now on, I will only ship US Mail internationally, never FedEx again.
